Optimal Quadratic Regulator PID for Motor DC

Abstract There are various methods for optimizing the parameters of PID, such as Genetic Algorithm, Flower Pollination and many more. Those metaheuristics can be used on applications. Nevertheless, computational costs quite expensive. In this paper, we design a PID controller based optimal regulator DC motor. It provides an solution that does not require highly resources. We simulate responses closed-loop system using MATLAB. The results verify regulated (PID-QR) has better response than Ziegler-Nichols PID. no overshoot smaller error tracking Ziegler-Nichols.
